Last year I ran the ING Marathon in Atlanta to raise money for the medical expenses of Madison Faith. It was by far one of the best experiences in my life, so I want to help Maddy again. I'm giving back and you can too!
This year I am running two events:
- The Peachtree Road Race on July 4th
- The PT Solutions Women's Triathlon on August 8th

Both of these races have a combined lenght of 20 miles. You can donate per mile or any times per mile you'd like. I hope you find donating to this cause as rewarding as I find doing these races for Maddy.
Madison was born at only 5lbs and already in congestive heart failure. At three-weeks old, she had her first open-heart surgery, to repair 4 defects. Her second open-heart surgery was over her fourth birthday. In the years between, she has been in the hospital almost as much as she has been home. Her syndrome called DiGeorge, has left her in very fragile medical state with a barely functioning immune and GI system along with many organs in need of constant attention, rehab or repair.
Her spirit has carried her through more than anyone should ever have to face. With perseverance, will and determination, she carries on day after day, surgery after surgery always looking for a brighter day. Madison is a beautiful, bright and happy child and is astounding that she is still with us.
